CSF Short Cup Harmonic Gearing
The CSF series is a high-performance, zero tooth backlash drive that offers superior motion control performance in a compact space. The CSF offers superb positional accuracy and repeatability to ± 0.25 arc-sec. An optimized tooth profile and wave generator shape allow for a greater area of tooth engagement, high torque capacity and torsional stiffness. The CSF series has approximately twice the repeated torque limit and stiffness of the traditional HDC series drives. The standard CSF includes an Oldham coupling on the wave generator input. For zero lost motion between the input motor shaft and wave generator, the wave generator can be modified for direct mounting to the input shaft. Standard sizes are available with torque capacities to 372 Nm. High torque options, larger units, and customized units are available upon request.
